Before anyone digs
How the price of a system is built
Every job is drawn first, then priced. These are the parts of the number, in the order people ask.
What decides the price
The tank and the ground it sits in are most of it. We tell you which of these apply to your job.
Tank size and material
Buried, or above ground and insulated
Rock or ledge in the trench
Distance from roof to tank to use
Pump, treatment and permits
What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't
The written estimate lists the parts, the labor, the permit paperwork and the maintenance sheet.
Not included: roof repair or a new roof
Not included: electrical service to the pump
Not included: planting, fencing or rework of the yard
What the site visit covers
The visit fee pays for the walk-around, the roof measurements and a one-page sketch of the route. If you build with us, it is credited to the job.
How and when you pay
A deposit before we order the tank and parts, then payments tied to the work: tank set, plumbing in, treatment and test. The schedule is written in the estimate.
If the job changes
A change after the estimate is priced in writing and starts only after you sign it. Rock in the trench and a roof that needs repair are the usual ones.
When you get the number
After the site visit, in writing, itemized. We don't quote by phone, because a roof and a trench can't be priced from a description.
Pricing
Short answers about money
How big a tank do I need?
That depends on your roof area, the rain you actually get and the water you will actually use. We size it from those three, not from a catalog. A bigger tank only helps if the roof can fill it.
Do I need a permit?
Often yes, and it depends on what you are building. Anahi tells you which permits apply, prepares the paperwork and brings it to you to sign. We schedule inspections as part of the job.
What does it cost?
It depends on the tank, whether it is buried, how far the water has to travel and what treatment you need. How pricing works lays out each part, and you get a written number after the site visit.

It starts with the site visit. We'll tell you the fee before we come.
