About the shop
A design shop that digs its own trenches
Candelaria Rain & Water is a family-run shop in Taos. Cecilia draws, Alfredo's crew builds, and the same people come back when something needs adjusting.
Cecilia grew up watching water move through acequias and across roofs in the valley, and she designs the way the water already wants to go. The shop is small on purpose: one design lead, one installer crew and a coordinator, so the person who drew your system is the one who walks the site with you.

Sets tanks, trenches lines below the frost line and runs the flush and the leak check before the crew leaves.
Lalo Vigil
Installer
Digs the trench, sets the pad and the tank and plumbs the overflow to the tree or the swale you chose.
Anahi Galvan
Project coordinator and permits
Schedules the site visit, prepares the permit paperwork for you to sign and sends the lab sample off.
